The USS Cobia haunted submarine is permanently moored at the Manitowoc Maritime Museum, where tour guides have had ghostly encounters with a deceased. This two-hour tour focuses more on personal stories and less on technology. My family members loved it and would recommend. We had some time before the tour so we looked at some of the well laid out exhibits dealing with the area’s shipping industry and the importance of the Great Lakes to the region. The museum is located right on the the Manitowoc River not far west of Lake Michigan with the submarine the USS Cobia resting in the river. Manitowoc was our last big stop before heading home the next day with our sights set on the Maritime Museum.
